Zeba Khan, a Muslim-American, looks back on her experiences attending the Hebrew Academy of Toledo as a child. Enrolling Zeba into a Jewish school was one of her parents’ actions to test Zeba’s notions of identity and to take true ownership of who she is as a Muslim-American.

Bay Area native Rolla Selbak has been named a winner of One Nation film contest, earning $5,000 for her film, "Green Blue Sea."

Altmuslim.com has decided to introduce a partner site, Altmuslimah.com, which provides a space for compelling comment on gender in Islam and a platform for intra- and inter-community dialogue on a wide variety of gender-related issues.

Georgia-native Nabil Abou-Harb is the grand prize winner of the One Nation film contest, earning $25,000 for his film, "Arab in America".

The winners of the "One Nation, Many Voices" Film Contest were announced on Tuesday, March 17.  The five winning films, each running five minutes or less and available online, are a mix of fictional and true stories and explore: job discrimination, religious conversion, Islam's take on the environment, finding allies in unlikely places and the impact of a small town Muslim high school teacher on his non-Muslim students.

New documentary, “New Muslim Cool” follows Hamza Perez, a Puerto Rican American Muslim rapper, as he navigates the paths of religion, race, politics and culture which intersect his life in post-9/11 America.
