2008 Film Contest Grand Prize Finalist: One Desire
Jason Wu, a sophomore at Emerson College, created the film, "One Desire." This film was named a finalist for the Youth Story category.
Ehssan Karimi tells his story of his one desire to play in a band but never getting the opportunity to. After entering Berklee College of Music, his dreams would be answered, and better than he could have ever dreamed. Growing up with a diverse and conflicting religious backgrounds on both sides of the family, Ehssan is an inspiration to many that race, color, and religion does not matter when it comes to music. As an American Muslim, he seeks to break any stereotypes that pollutes our world today.
