2008 Film Contest Grand Prize Finalist: Giving Thanks
Walid Zeid (Alexandria, Egypt) and Lee Bennett (Atlanta, GA) are brothers-in-law. As Meander Films, they collaborate in the writing, direction, and production of music videos and short films. Their film, “A Good Question” was named a finalist for the 60-second spot category.
The film follows Walid, a Muslim from Alexandria, Egypt, celebrating Thanksgiving with his American wife's Christian family in the deep South, focusing on his interfaith relationship with his Southern Baptist father-in-law.
