2008 Film Contest Grand Prize Finalist: Tipu Makes a Documentary
Anwar is an American filmmaker, born in Ogden, Utah. At 8 years old, he moved with his family to Gaza, Palestine where they lived until his last year of high school. Graduating in 2008 in Film Studies from The University of Utah, he has made many short films, including "Treason," "Tipu Joins the MSA," commercials and nasheed videos. His film, "Tipu Makes a Documentary" was named a finalist for the Youth Story category.
