     American Society for Muslim Advancement
An Islamic cultural and educational organization “dedicated to fostering an American-Muslim identity and building bridges between American Muslims and the American public.”
     Council on American-Islamic Relations
A grassroots civil rights and advocacy group working to “enhance understanding of Islam, encourage dialogue, protect civil liberties, empower American Muslims, and build coalitions that promote justice and mutual understanding.”
     Islamic Society of North America
An association of Muslim organizations and individuals that “provides a common platform for presenting Islam, supporting Muslim communities, developing educational, social and outreach programs and fostering good relations with other religious communities, and civic and service organizations.”
     Muslim Advocates
An advocacy group that promotes “equality, liberty, and justice for all by providing leadership through legal advocacy, policy engagement, and civic education, and by serving as a legal resource to promote the full and meaningful participation of Muslims in American public life.”
     Muslim Public Affairs Council
An institution that “informs and shapes public opinion and policy by serving as a trusted resource to decision makers in government, media and policy institutions. MPAC is also committed to developing leaders with the purpose of enhancing the political and civic participation of American Muslims.”
