Egyptians and Americans Trade Places for Documentary

The Bridge tells the story of Arabs and Westerners encountering one another for the first time. The one-hour documentary follows Spirit, an Atlanta radio therapist, as she meets her Egyptian counterpart, Bothaina, a television talk show host from Cairo. The film also follows Mike, an Alabama cowboy, who forms a friendship with Mahmoud, an Egyptian horse trainer.

This film is being presented by Faith and Values Media, the nation's largest coalition of Abrahamic faith groups dedicated to media production, distribution, and promotion. It will premiere on the Hallmark Channel on Sunday, December 30 at 11 a.m. Eastern time.

The Bridge is a co-production of Common Ground Productions (Washington), Video Cairo SAT (Cairo), Downtown Community Television Center (New York), and Baraka Productions (New York).
