HiTee Productions is a Detroit based production company that has films ranging from short comedies to Drama shorts. "Malak" was a finalist for the American Muslim Life category.
The film tells the story of a young Arab- American woman's struggle to show her true identity. "We take a look into her most painful day, and from her pain comes a message. To open your eyes and see a person for who the truly are. Malak's story is one of thousands of people living in fear and pain everyday. This film is for them." Says the film's producers.
