2008 Film Contest Grand Prize Finalist: I Am Muslim
A documentary filmmaker, based in Dallas, Mr. Naeem Randhawa made his film directorial debut with a film about fasting called, American Ramadan, that has aired around the world, and received various film festival awards. Recently, he traveled to Afghanistan for his current documentary to capture harsh and often violent life beyond the headlines. His film, "I Am Muslim " was named a finalist for the 60-second spot category.
Randhawa’s message is simple: I Am Muslim, I Am Teacher, Engineer, Father, Son, Nurse, Imam, Mechanic, Daughter, Activist, Doctor, Lawyer, Refugee, and More. I Am You, I Am American, I Am Muslim.
