2008 Film Contest Grand Prize Finalist: Changing Faith
Lonny Danler is currently an MFA candidate at the University of Utah in film. BA in Communications with an emphasis in photojournalism. He grew up in Room 202 of family hotels where he developed a fascination with people and storytelling. His film, “Changing Faith” was a finalist for the American Muslim Women category.
"Changing Faith" follows a once Catholic, Nichole Mossalam, who finds Islam and puts faith in her new religion. Finding liberation in the hijab, and a newfound peace, now she has to convince her family.
